And it is basically positive. Ying Toijer-Nilsson has written a review of Ursula K Le Guin translated into Swedish. Whereas sales of Swedish original fantasy is abysmal the translated counterpart lives a healthy life.

Well. Only in the YA sections in the bookstores, as far as I can see.
Well, the YA departement has fantastic rather than healthy sales, but that is mainly due to the Potter books.
But yes, translations of YA makes more sense as the English originals may be a bit of a hard read for the target audience.
